Kimmo Hagman,a true "no limit underwater photographer", always dives with his camera and he has a portfolio of the most amazing shots collected from the surface down to 120 meters. Kimmo now lives in Hurghada, right by the Egyptian Red Sea, where he works as a dive centre manager. Kimmo took his first diving course in 1986 and in 1989 he became a diving instructor. From that moment on he has been working actively in the diving business including the Maldives, the Mediterranean and currently in the Red Sea. - I try to be a good example when it comes to "how not to destroy the marine environment" while taking pictures. That is much more important than taking nice picuters, Kimmo says. Although photography only is a hobby Kimmo has photographs published in many magazines, he has held photo exibitions and he has taken part in several photo competitions with good results. Kimmos photography case today includes: Nikon D100 and D200 for digital and 801s for film. Housings are Sealux, Sea & Sea and Seacam. On the flash side Kimmo uses exclusively Subtronics. Furthermore lenses are 10 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, 20-35 mm together with macro 60 and 105 mm and converters. Besides diving and photographing even on land he likes to ride his Harley Davidson and fast cars as well as enjoy good food and wine. www.kimmohagman.com |
