Tunis is the capital of Tunisia, located on the northern coast of Africa. The country has boundaries with Algeria to the west, Libya to the southeast and the Mediterranean Sea to the north and east with Sardinia, Sicily and Malta not far away.
Monastir, a beautiful town on the north east coast and Djerba Island, a real palm island, near the southern coast have many famous tourist resorts.
When visiting Tunisia it is important to remember to always cover the shoulders and legs when entering a Mosque.
